Sue Appleby - C4K Co-director & Performer 2016
Sue is an actress, singer, musical director and singing teacher with over 15 years experience in the performing and coaching industries. She has performed in over 25 countries, at the National Theatre, The Royal Albert Hall, London's West End and in UK tours.
She runs two businesses: her own singing teaching practice, London Singing Works, and Jazz & Swing Band Limelight - who regularly offer their trademark Jazzeoke as a fundraising event for C4K.
Sue founded Christmas for Kids in 2009.
Claire Sundin - C4K Co-director & Performer
Claire graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA). She is an actor, singer, freelance drama facilitator and one of the founding members of Christmas For Kids. She has toured theatres all over the UK, and has performed in the West End and New York.
As a freelance drama facilitator, Claire works with children aged 2-18 yrs teaching curriculum-based subjects and encouraging children to learn and explore through the medium of drama. She has 15 years of teaching experience and working with children who have Special Educational Needs.
George Bray - Performer, 2016
George began his training at the Thornton Academy of Dance in his hometown of Middlesbrough. He then pursued professional training at Urdang Academy (graduating with a BA (Hons) Degree).
He made his professional debut understudying and playing Billy Lawlor in 42nd Street (UK Tour); has performed as Ensemble in Jesus Christ Superstar (World Arena Tour); as Chief of Police/Drummer in Aladdin (Cast Theatre); as a pantomime Prince/percussionist in Sleeping Beauty (Cast Theatre); and has also featured as Tom in the original production of The Spalding Suite (Southbank Centre)
George is delighted to be joining Christmas 4 Kids, and can’t wait to spread the festive cheer!
Lara Greenhow - Performer, 2016
Lara has recently graduated from The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, and prior to this studied at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. This is her first year with Christmas for Kids and she is excited to be part of the team!
Recent credits include: 'Billy Fury Dance Show' (Shaw Theatre), 'Spring Awakening' (Chelsea Theatre), 'Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway (ITV), and 'Cinderella' (Chaplin's Pantos).
Emma Reeves - Script Advisor & C4K Trustee
Emma's writing and adaptation work for stage includes: 'The Snow Child' (Tutti Frutti), adaptations of 'Hetty Feather' (Olivier Award nomination, West End and touring), 'Cool Hand Luke' (West End and Off-Broadway), 'Carrie's War' (West End and tour), 'Anne of Green Gable' (Lilian Baylis), 'Little Women' (West End).
TV work includes 'Eve' (co-creator and lead writer), 'Hetty Feather', 'The Story of Tracy Beaker', 'Tracy Beaker Returns', 'The Dumping Ground', 'Doctors', 'Belonging', 'Dead Gorgeous', 'Sadie J', 'Young Dracula', 'Chuggington', 'The Murder of Princess Diana'.
Radio includes 'Leaving This Land', 'On The Cusp' and 'Clinging to Lord Nelson' (Radio 4), 'Something for Nothing' (BBC Radio Wales).
Gareth is an actor and storyteller who graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2013. He has over 5 years experience as a freelance theatre workshop leader and facilitator, and works with special needs children on a regular basis.
He is co- founder and Artistic Director of Bard Busters, who specialise in making the works of Shakespeare fun and accessible for children.
Recent Credits include: 'The Comedy About a Bank Robbery' (Criterion Theatre), White Rabbit in ‘Adventures in Wonderland' (Les Enfants Terribles), Sebastian in Twelfth Night (Riverfront Theatre), Ross in ‘Macbeth’ & Angelo in ‘The Comedy of Errors’ (UK Tour).

Andrew Loudon - 2016 Show Director
Directing credits include West End runs of 'Little Women' at the Duchess Theatre in 2005, 'Carrie's War' at The Apollo Theatre in 2009 (with a major UK tour in 2010) and 'Cool Hand Luke' at The Aldwych Theatre in 2012.
He has also directed 'Anne of Green Gables' and 'Carrie's War' at the Lilian Baylis Theatre, Sadler's Wells, Mary Barton and Charlotte's House (Norwich), Open Ground (Hampstead Theatre), a multimedia production of George Orwell's 'Nineteen Eighty-Four' (Arts Ed), which he co-wrote with Emma Reeves and 'Gertrude's Secret', a series of monologues starring Prunella Scales and Angela Griffin (Chichester Minerva Theatre and tour).
Benson has been a member of the Christmas for Kids team since the company was founded in 2009. He has appeared in every show with C4K, and some (namely him) even call him The Star of the show. He is an expert singer, and very funny - in fact, he often referes to himself as "The Best One". In between engagements with C4K, Benson can be found in the heart of London as a tour guide. Harry - Performer (puppet)
Harry originally intended to audition for 'White Christmas' back in 2011, but found himself in the wrong room and has been performing with Christmas for Kids ever since. He managed to incorporate his favourite passtime of playing Air Guitar into the show and now won't let it go. His credits as an extra include: 'Monsters Inc.' and 'The Muppets Christmas Carol', where he once stood next to Kermit the Frog in the catering queue.
Lisa Austin - Performer, 2016
Lisa trained at The Urdang Academy, London.
Professional credits include: Singer 'Britain's Got Talent', Dancer 'The Wanted', Strictly Come Dancing' (Olympics Wimbledon), 'Cinderella', 'Snow White' and 'Aladdin' (QDOS Pantomimes), 'One' (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) and the promo tour of 'Carnaby Street, The Musical'.
Assistant choregorapher: 'One Night Only', 'The Magic Flute' and 'Aida' the opera musical. Puppetry work includes: 'Jungle Jukebox' for CBeebies. Lisa tours regularly with 60s group 'The Estrellas'.
This is Lisa's second year with Christmas for Kids, and she is delighted and honoured to be part of such an amazing project and to be touring with such a fab team!
Katie Hecht - C4K Administrator & Performer, 2016
Katie trained at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts.
She has worked in Theatre, Film and television for over 15 years, appearing in West End Plays and Musicals, The London Film Festival and Prime Time Sunday nights on ITV. She currently spends most of her acting time in the studio recording radio dramas for audiences in the USA.
This is Katie's first year with Christmas for Kids and she couldn't be more proud to be working for such a worthwhile course. Katie enjoys charity work and is currently training for the 2017 London Marathon!
Caitlin is an actor, singer and physical theatre performer trained at Fourth Monkey Theatre Company and Oxford University.
Credits include: 'Alice in Wonderland' (Open Air), 'Animal Farm' (Courtyard Theatre), 'Girls Like That' (Printers Playhouse), 'Yerma' (Trinity Buoy Wharf), 'Cockroach' (Etcetera Theatre) and 'The Merchant of Venice' (The London Theatre).
Caitlin has also voiced a number of animated films for BBC Bitesize learning platform. This is her first year working with Christmas for Kids.
